Roberto Bocchetti releases his first single Canzone sciocca

Dear Listeners,

I haven’t been writing for a while on the Blog of Milano Lounge, because the past months have been quite hectic for me.

In January, I worked as Executive Producer for the single “La verita negli occhi” by Italian artist Gupho.

February saw the release of my first single, well, it’s not my first single but it’s the first one where it’s me singing. The title of the song is “Canzone sciocca”, silly song (available on Spotify Canzone sciocca Roberto Bocchetti).

My dear friend Christian Portaro released the videoclip, featuring his Lestophantasy cartoon characters (available on Youtube):

That said, please rest assured that I am still putting my attention to Milano Lounge and – even if I do not say it – I am always adding and/or removing songs from the radio rotation.

Keep listening to Milano Lounge and spread love.

P.S. If you manage to send a donation, thank you even more šŸ™‚

Milano Lounge: over 398k unique listeners in 1st Semester 2020 (Jan-Jun 2020)

PRESS RELEASE

Milano Lounge: over 398k unique listeners in 1st Semester 2020 (Jan-Jun 2020)

Milano Lounge, the Milanese broadcaster of Chillout music, confirms itself as a leader among digital native radio stations (i.e. online-only, without FM, DAB or DTT frequencies).

In the semester January-June 2020, Milano Lounge had an astonishing 398,001 unique listeners, + 77% compared to the same semester in 2019, when it had 224,000 unique listeners.

Total Listening Hours (TLH) more than doubled, from 708,000 (First Semester 2019) to a whopping 1,675,574 TLH in the First Semester 2020.

Average listening time is 42.2 minutes.(it was 38 minutes).

Very interesting results (especially considering the online-only nature of Milano Lounge), helped (unfortunately) by the Coronavirus pandemic. In the lockdown months, in fact, the greatest increase in listeners was registered, probably people stressed by the bad daily news, in search of moments of relaxation and tranquility, such as those offered by Milano Lounge, thanks to its careful selection of Chillout, Lounge Music, Deep House and Electronic Music.

Very satisfied Roberto Bocchetti, creator and Station Manager of Milano Lounge, who declares : ā€œI am aware of the attention towards Milano Lounge and I am happy that my selection of music – with songs chosen one by one to create a relaxing atmosphere – is also appreciated by listeners.

This is attested by numerous e-mails received from listeners who congratulated me on the music selection, and also by the donations received, which have allowed to re-open the HD High Definition streaming of Milano Lounge, branded Milano Lounge Radio HD, which is only available at the milanoloungeradio.com website.

On the HD channel I put some exclusive contents, not present on the “normal” SD Standard Definition Milano Lounge, to encourage listeners to switch to Milano Lounge Radio HD and discover Crystal Clear Sound in High Definition.

The SD Standard Definition version of Milano Lounge is available at the milanolounge.it website, as well as on the main aggregators, such as Tunein and radio.net and it is also available via smart speakers / voice assistants.

Thanks to the Music

Dear Listeners,

we are all confined into our apartments, or villas or mansions (who knows?) during thisĀ Coronavirus pandemics.

Thankfully, there isĀ THE MUSIC. I’m glad I had some work to do to spend time during theĀ Quarantine for Coronavirus. I wanted to giveĀ more music varietyĀ onĀ Milano Lounge Radio, so I took this time to select and add someĀ 300 new tracks, including classics of theĀ Chillout/LoungeĀ format fromĀ the 90sĀ and evenĀ the 80s, such as Incognito, William Pitt, Ultra Nate, Swing Out Sister, Mike Francis, Sade, Enigma, Matt Bianco, Grace Jones… Just to mention a few.

And, of course, I have to thank you, dearĀ listeners of Milano Lounge Radio, for yourĀ donations and words of support and encouragement. Every time I play a track, I feel like we are together in a big big room, although it would be difficult to do it nowadays but we are all reunited together, thanks to the music.

And I also likeĀ to travel with my mind, every track gives me different sensations and takes me to a new place, sometimes to a new planet…

Remember, that you canĀ suggest songsĀ to add to our radio rotation, via the dedicatedĀ Milano Lounge Radio Spotify collaborative playlist, available at

Listeners, suggest songs to add to our radio rotation!

Dear listeners,

in this difficult times for all the world, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I am glad that Milano Lounge & Milano Lounge Radio HD are spreading good music to keep you company.

Unless I fall victim of the Covid-19, I will continue to add new songs to our radio rotation.

I have also created a new collaborative playlist on Spotify, where listeners can suggest songs to add to our radio rotation. You can find it at this link:

Please remember that we play only Chillout, Lounge, Deep House & Electronic Music. Do not add other genres. Thank you.
